Don't You Hate Running Out of Ink Cartridges?

It never fails - you are in the middle of a printing out some very important documents and your darn ink cartridge runs out of ink. There is no worse feeling than when you need to run a last second print job and you start to notice the words getting lighter and lighter. In a perfect world your office would be fully stocked with brand new ink cartridges ready to go at a moment's notice. But we live in the real world, and in the real world, we only buy ink cartridges when we absolutely, positively NEED them. Let's face it, printer ink isn't cheap, but we all need it.

If you are a student, imagine the number of ink cartridges you've gone through in your lifetime. Remember the time you ran out and didn't have a spare? I do, and I also remember having to wake up extra early the next morning to buy an ink cartridge because my term paper was due.

Small business owners require tons of ink cartridges in order for their business to run properly. These entrepreneurs are printing up daily reports, mailing out flyers, compiling records of invoices, and anything else to stay organized. Ink cartridges can add up to a sizable expense for busy offices.

Big businesses could arguably be the largest consumer of ink cartridges of all. They too rely on having a large supply of ink for reports and graphs for presentations, maintaining internal records, sending memos and a plethora of other business necessities. But corporations are a bit more organized than most. They order their ink in bulk, and always before their current supply runs out, ensuring that their shelves are never devoid of ink cartridges.

There is something to be learned from the corporate world - never run out of ink! It is a good idea to always keep a couple of extra ink cartridges around just in case you get case of the fading ink blues. Newer printers can actually "sense" when they are getting low on ink and will point this out to you while you are printing. If you are smart, you will heed your printer's advice and purchase some ink straight away. Because as we all know, having your ink cartridge conk out on you in the middle of an important print job is the last thing you want to worry about.
